OFF TOPIC - Blitz, I am no oil expert either, just responding to your post where you indicated things look good for oil. Oil stocks often run up in advance of OPEC meetings before resuming their downward trend. The problem is that OPEC members never to seem to stick to their production quotas so the oversupply remains.

The forecast in the link I previously posted indicates oil dropping from its current level of $12.00/bbl. to $8.00/bbl. by the end of this year. A sustained move above $12.00 is not forecast to occur until late in the year 2000.

As a result, I remain short several Canadian oil stocks.

I realize that this is peripheral to MTEI and probably not overly significant in it's valuation.
