Hopefully the Banshee cards will be good enough to get an upgrade from some of these lame analysts. I am actually very enthusiastic believing that the Banshee cards will be quite successful (PC Magazine's Editor's Choice seem highly likely).

I see both NMGC and ATY.TO took off today with the market, but TDFX hit big time resistance as it tried to take off.

It looks like TDFX is dead money for a couple of months, or until Mr. Big Seller is done. #$$@%^!

OTOH - Look at what happened to RMBS when it broke to the upside today. A good OEM deal might do the same for TDFX. This is a great deal more probable than just 'wishful thinking'.

I guess TDFX inflated the float waaay too much. I hope they put all the cash to good use instead of just earnings 5% interest on it - I could do that myself. They should go on a buying spree. That would get the markets attention.

I'm still sure the stock is a lot closer to a bottom than a top.

<<Banshee is candy for the OEM's. They are going to eat this chipset up once it appears in mainstream low cost accelerator cards from the likes of Diamond.>>

Announcing design wins would have helped to support this claim, but all we've heard so far is that Diamond will have a card in the future. This is a very low-key endorsement in my opinion. As I stated in a previous post, uncertainty over future earnings is dragging down the price of this stock. The Banshee announcement did not alter the situation.

Going after the low price points with Banshee definitely looks like the right move to me--a big OEM deal is only possible with a cheap chip, and it looks like TDFX could get some good OEM deals with Banshee.
