I wondered the same thing, Gyp! To go from Thomas' description of "sweet,evocative nostalgia" to the picture of Donald Sutherland and those weird cocoons....was jarring.

Good question Gypsy. I never read "The Body Snatchers", but my guess is the movie was taken from the book.

Definitely read "Time and Again". It is absolutely outstanding.

Hi Gypsy,

Seems you hit the question of the day regarding "The Body Snatchers." I too was wondering that when I read the Biblio post. Good thing this is not just a local posting group or the local library would certainly be wondering what the deal is on Finney. I will be checking there soon myself as my curiosity on this author has peaked as well.
