Hi Ann,

Thanks, and I certainly enjoy your sense of humor, and yes, glad you vented a bit with J. Cramer. I'm heavy into NOVL stock since last Dec97, and many of the older NOVL bulls of 1995-1996 have become bitter NOVL bears, in denial (on NOVL SI thread...many have left). But fortunately, for me, I've entered the picture after the bear trend was about over, and Dr. Eric Schmidt was well into wrestling with NOVL's future -- in a brighter way. As I always say, "cut your losses and get on with life, its too short" rather than whinning ad nausea about how bad a company is being managed (re: JC's remarks on ASND). Heck, either offer some solutions, be polite, or move onto better investments. ;)

Anyway, I heard J. Cramer was dissing NOVL in some open forum, but didn't catch the details on it. I've asked him directly in private SI mail, and in this tread what his thoughts were on NOVL, and he's been silent. He also gave me a few one liners on his thoughts re: NOVL during a yahoo open chat, but he basically said his associate was studying them, or they were one quarter away from looking interesting.

Well, its up around 68% for me since Dec97, so I'm not complaining nor is J. Cramer talking yet about NOVL. Must be keeping his bullish cards on them close to his chest. <grin>.

All the best!

QuadK

Although I do not write my column to move stocks or tout positions, my reversal on Asnd in the mid 20s was well-documented and chronicled both on thestreet.com site and in three different public chats. It happened during a month where I did not speak about it on squawk. Sometimes you have to search before you destroy.
