.... so forward thinking. To develop the new FBNA logo years before the company was even founded required extreme sensitivity to ethereal counterbalanced arythmia, found only in the outermost areas of Antarctica. Unless, of course ... it was ... yes, of course ... it must have been ... Tom C !!! Commander Tom, of the future. The person who mastered the control of those Blastomere Separation mutant lectothons, and was able to travel to and from specified time periods at will. He was even able to choose locations, to some degree. Yes, that's it. Commander Tom travelled back into the past ... back to when Muffy was just a child ... to find out how her sordid life had progressed as it did. Little did Tom know that the FBNA logo on his FBNA approved belt buckle would leave a lasting impression on Muffy. No, really ... I mean a long lasting impression ... when he bent over to hug her goodby, his belt buckle dug into her waist and left an impression there. Commander Tom was not really sure this was the right Muffy child, though. The Muffy he had read about owned one of those fancy necklaces. That's the one Nurse Norma had carved the initials "FF" onto. Perhaps Commander Tom's visit to the past was prior to the gift of the locket? The next time Muffy saw Commander Tom was when he commandeered the Key to the City of Sedona in Muffy's Story, Volume 1. It seemed every time Muffy saw Commander Tom, Commander Tom was disappearing into the future ... or wherever those future guys disappear to. Anyway, the plaster casting of the new FBNA logo (which Muffy had intended to be an erotic scene, but her artistic skills were severely lacking) was placed into the Orphanage's trophy case along with other artistic creations of the orphanage children. Many years later, a travelling entrpreneur spied the unusual creation in that trophy case, took a picture, and showed it to the FBNA Marketing Department. They adopted it as their logo. That's how it ended up being on Commander Tom's belt buckle many decades later. Kind of a self fulfilling prophecy thing, you know? Anyway, back to the circus ...
