Its like old home week on SI.
You've been reading again MM:) Here is the title of a book for anyone interested in gems "Gemstones of the world" by Walter Schumann Sterling publishing Co. 1977 Its a good read not just on diamonds but on all gemstones. Goes into some detail and history etc.
I'm willing to bet and I have, that if they take a bigger bulk sample they will find some even bigger stones. Next time around we should run a pool for the biggest stone found.
regards Walt
