Closing out of TXN options If the trades yesterday were closing out of positions, it is not reflected in the open interest. The Jan 99 40 put option open interest is still around 51,000 (51061 vs 51453 yesterday). The open interest in the July 50 put fell from 13590 to 10387 while the OI in the July 55 put rose from 7221 to 10604. The OI in the July 60 call fell from 11671 to 9891. Does anybody know how long it takes for option closing trades to be reflected in the open interest. Thanks and good luck.
