BTW, George, I thought of you when I read this article in the Wash-Post the other day, on the business of selling Gulfstream jets to CEOs, and its value. In the case of Schmidt, I think he flies a more modest Lear Jet, but I don't know for certain. Either way, the article points out the value that company CEO's get from using private versus flying public jets. Remember, Schmidt's wife and kids probably wouldn't let him keep the pace he does at Novell by flying public jets otherwise. And the shareholders will see the benefits over time, ;).
