Mike, I did not at all mean for my response to sound short.:-). I have TEMPLATES set up in C:\EQUIS\MSWIN\CHARTS. I can apply them to any stock, index or composite that is in my C:\EQUIS\DATA\?? directory. I wonder if we are referring the same COMPOSITE?? I create a composite in MS DOWNLOADER by using for example the NYSE Adv Issues less the NYSE Decl Issues. I was able to do this with QP1 without this problem; therefore, it must be a new problem created with QP2. I tried turning off QV before updating my MS files and it did not help. I apears that QP1 UPDATED whereas QP2 REWRITES. But I am not a programmer either so what do I know. <ggg> Monty
