Problems will be corrected in short order or noncompliant companies will become toast.

You just don't get it, do you Don. This is equivalent to saying Y2K is merely a small "speed-bump" in the road and will only occur in isolated areas and the results will only be "trivial".

Buddy, the way Year 2000 remediation is taking place at the current rate, I would rethink your analysis of the equities market and the underlying foundation of current investor confidence.

I'm not nearly so confident, but am happy to play along with the foolish bulls to the point that I sense they are FINALLY "getting it", at which point I will try to beat them into the sectors the baby boomer herd find safest (bonds, gold.. etc).

I could amplify, but I guess you will discover the truth of this issue for yourself over the next 18 months.

And I would lay off of Ken. The man knoweth of what he speaketh.

Regards,

Ron

I'm not afraid to admit that not only would I prefer not to be invested in the Y2K sector, I wish that sector didn't even exist! To wit: Please direct us all to that incredible miracle that will trivialize this world-threatening catastrophe. I guarantee you that everyone here would love to research it.

Unfortunately, you're just another in a long, long line of posters here who discount the coming disaster because you simply haven't bothered to check into it. That makes you a complete waste of time ala Mike Winn, Mr. pink, etc.

If it's about laziness with you, I'll make it easy: just spend an hour reading the TAVA research thread. If that doesn't raise your interest, join that shrinking crowd we all know who are proceding to bend over, put their heads between their legs and kiss their a-- (and their $$) goodbye!

Don, I used to dabble in psychoanalysis, so you're partially correct. See your in-box.
