I am a long term investor and to not participate in options much other than to say that I purchased leaps (call) for January 2000. I think that ORCL is a fantastic long term hold. The market is not sure if the NCA is going to take hold. No one can predict the future but in a networked environment you need some type of networking architecture. I believe that the "database is the jewel of a computer system" and that ORCL by far makes the most popular database. What is more important than information and the access to it? I did not answer your question but I believe that all us longs will be fully vindicated when/if ORCL proves itself worthy once again of lofty valuations by implementating its mission/strategy with renewed growth and profits. IMO.
