Hey Lance, it's good to see "Intel Inside" out of the closet!:-)

Don't even waste your time with this guy, he doesn't even realize that rambus isn't a "chip company"!

Gary, do you know what BANDWITH is??!! If so, how long has the current bus bandwith of 66mhz been in PC's? This is not the kind of segment of the computer that can withstand constant upgrades outside of a standard platform! THE NEW PLATFORM FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS WILL BE RAMBUS...expect to see RMBS go from 1.6gig transfer at 800mhz to over 7gig transfer at close to 3 gigaherz!!!

This is the MAIN reason Intel is pushing this standard...it will force the development of newer, faster, more expensive chips that INTC will be more than happy to supply! Why will all this work...because BANDWITH is the key to technology for the next 10 years!! Desktop, backoffice, telco, wireless, you name it...BANDWITH writes its' own ticket!
