Thanks for your "Stream of Conciousness" blurb on the many cheap processors you own.

You are the customer that Cyrix and AMD dreams of!

I would have thought that buying one really good CPU would have saved you quite a bit of money instead of buying 8 or 10 inferior, but cheap, ones.

Oh well - unwitting people and their money are soon parted.

Carl, The ever bigger software bloat seems to have plateaued and obviated the need for the very high performance 400 Mhz + CPUs(except for specialized apps). For business apps the socket 7 stuff serves quite well especially as diminishing returns has set in and going from 266 to 400 Mhz might give you less than 10% real world speed increase in app running. Games? The new AMD flies at high speed economy class and is very hard to find in stock.
