Clarence, once you re-read the auxiliary
about Nat and Proxy, let us know your
evaluation since you'll be the last to have
read it with fresh eyes. All I remember
was that I favorited NAT(Nemod) over a proxy.


After spending some time with the NAT vs Proxy debate, I think your choice of Sygate is prudent for me as well. I'm afraid all the voices here (Dirke) and elsewhere who have billed Sygate as transparent and easiest to install have convienced me. The allowance for dynamic IP addressing and some degree of firewall protection is also positive. sygate.com shows the degree of ease Sygate has over proxy based.

So, for now, Sygate and dual modems it is....
