>>I'd love to see DELL go straight to the bottom like the Titanic, but stocks don't act that way.

You must not read very many charts... bad stocks certainly do; good stocks and well-managed companies simply live through normal fluctuations. Too bad you feel the need to see so many people suffer. If you're so convinced that an issue sucks, why not stay positive and find someplace else to be long?

>>The bad news is mounting...

Refresh my memory - I haven't seen a single spot of Dell bad news in months.

>>I assume you're one of those rabid DELL longs or you wouldn't have posted this crap to me

I'm about the farthest thing from rabid there is. I'm rational, cautious, and concerned about the general health of the market. Nonetheless, I have difficulty finding any issues more solid than Dell right now, even at their lofty valuation.

I also have managed to refrain from name-calling (in spite of severe temptation, in your case). I'd appreciate it if you'd behave like the adult you profess to be and do the same.

>>How are things w/ you? You must think they're pretty good or you wouldn't come out of hiding to post to me, eh?

Uh, Luc- rather than hiding, I was spending three fantastic weeks in the UK and on the Eastern shore of the Choptank in Maryland, blissfully ignoring the daily noise of the market. I was simply surprised to return and find that my Dell had recovered far more rapidly than I anticipated, and you had completely stopped posting on the subject, in favor of other boards (where, I suppose, you are more warmly welcomed, and don't need to feel so defensive all the time).

>>You DELL longs are really bitter about me telling you your stock was going to drop and being right

EXCUSE ME- I'm hardly the bitter-sounding one here. And, you were right - for a while - now you're wrong. The market will go up, the market will go down. Even a monkey at a typewriter gets a word right occasionally. For god's sake, even Fleckenstein gets one right once in a while.

>>I suggest you go back to your hole and resume hibernating. See ya at $40, and I only wish I could see your face
when we get there. (ggg) :)

Now who's taunting whom?

xxoo

Eric
