Hi Ol Claus <<If applied to business applications- how about the IBM guy who told Bill Gates in 1979 that the total i.e."total" world wide market for desk top PCs are about 200,000 units. Does anybody doubt that college drop out had a better idea>> That brings back some memories for me. In 1981, I was involved with a company that was selling a computerized real estate investment analysis package running on an Apple IIe. About 32 disks with 1 disk drive! Anyway, I remember talking to an IBM salesman about this Apple computer and I'll never forget his words -"Oh yeah, we're bringing out something similar, but it'll never fly - market's not big enough." bbruin -"HLBS&DW"
