Dave, I agree. This ruling is of great significance to Intel. The FTC was considering

I know something about the law, and the victory which MSFT won relates only to the government's first action concerning MSFT's alleged violation of their consent decree. In other words, this first case was simply about an alleged violation of contract. The second action against MSFT, and the INTC action, are not about the violation of a private contract between the government and the respective company. The second action, against MSFT in particular, is under the Sherman Anti-trust Act. To my mind, the opening shots have been fired, but the real war has yet to be fought, and victory celebrations are premature.
