This World Cup is shaping up to be the most exciting in years! What a Norway result! Just imagine: there is a chance that BOTH Brazil and Germany are put out in the first game of the second round. Now that would be a shocker, but Chile has shown it can play, beating Italy until the last 10 minutes, and the Germans, if they don't beat Iran convincingly, could end up second in their group, and be put out by Holland.

Indeed it has turned out to be great !

So far.... We have the heroes, (Romania, Nigeria), We have the tragedy (USA, Morocco), We have the Elegant White Knights (France, Argentina), The eternal frustration (Scotland), The disappointment (Chile, Spain, Jamaica), The mystery and enigma (Holland, Italy), the seniles (Germany), the ones with the Black eye (Brasil, England), and the Villains (Norway and the referees).

All the ingredients for the best World Cup ever, all we need now is a game to improve on the game of games (Italy 4 x 3 W. Germany in the Mexico semifinals 19970).

Holland may turn on the fire vs Mexico, but we are not there yet, who knows, the Mexicans may really be putting a great performance and give the Dutch a run for their money.... It should be a good game.

The fest goes on...

Ready for today's games.....

Z.
