You don't just have to stand-by and wait for CPQ to go up. You can and should be writing covered calls on it every month. At 10,000 shares on margin, you should be able to bring in at least 10K every month selling at the money or out of the money calls one month out. If you get called out, wait 30 days and buy back in again and then write some more calls.
