Wade-

I can do more than guess, hopefully.

My estimates for the rest of 1998 are as follows:

Q2
Sales $33,000
Net Inc. $3,678
EPS $0.48

Q3
Sales $49,250
Net Inc. $5,222
EPS $0.66

Q4
Sales $74,125
Net Inc. $8,860
EPS $1.09

FY1998
Sales $204,828
Net Inc. $24,251
EPS $3.10

Obviously, these figures don't consider the GameFX charge in Q2.

Next year:
FY1999
Sales $256,100
Net Inc. $34,260
EPS $4.10

I apologize for the delay in publishing my detailed research report. I have been building my new company, TechTrends, Inc., which has been demanding more of my time than I had expected (yes, Jeff, I'm trying to put family first :o). So now I'm juggling both Taurus Investments and TechTrends. I hope to have the report out in the next couple of weeks. It will certainly be available a few weeks prior to the Q2 earnings announcement. In the report, which will be available to everyone on this thread (and the whole world), will be plenty of details and numbers on THQ's present and future (estimates). There shouldn't be much there that readers of SI haven't seen, but it will be very informative to the uninitiated investor, both individual and institutional.

The above estimates are mere samples of the numbers and estimates in the report. I look forward to its completion.

In the meantime, let's try to get to $30!

Todd

Time magazine...

Page 68 of this week's Time magazine has a spread on WCW vs. WFW. They show a shot of WWF action toys on the left side of the page and WCW action dolls on the other. Of course, we all know who makes the WFW dolls <g>. This will put THQI and JAKK off to a great start for Xmas buying season.

The article makes mention that pay-per-view AND merchandising amount to more than one billion a year.
