They used to make a full line of products including wafer steppers. I believe the last product line to be ( and still is?) successful was ion implanters. They make dandy truck axles though in one of their other businesses!

Eaton's semiconductor equipment division is one of the larger semi-equip companies. They usually don't get much attention because the parent company's other businesses are older and larger.

Eaton is the market leader in high-current and high-energy ion implanters. They have a medium-current implanter line which has fallen on hard times, and they have also recently introduced an ultra-low-energy implanter. Their ion implant business is well established and goes back a couple decades. Along with Varian and Applied Materials they take most of the implanter business. I believe they claim to have the largest installed base of implanters in the world.

They have also gone into rapid thermal processing and recently into ashers under the Fusion name.
