Good comments. We could also add:
- close to a quarter of Q1's GDP rise was a build for inventory.
- trade figures, which were imbalanced and ugly last year, that have now dropped into the abyss.
- more new lay-offs announced in this last quarter than I have seen in a long time (example, MOT, DEC, etc).
- disappointing earnings in Q1 (well below earlier analysts' estimates)
- a frightening "pre-announcement" period with respect to Q2
One could go on and on. What happened to Goldilocks? (g)
