Trina,

Stop feeding him - he bites :-)

Now he will look at this and predict that cisco's margin's will fall (because of 10K/10Q warnings - despite them improving this past quarter).

Now we also covered the earthquake and flood threats - so using his theories we need to disinvest in all Silicon Valley companies. As well as all companies that give any warnings of any kind in these documents. The fact that they are required to file the risks is unimportant.

Looking at BAY's 10-Q (from EDGAR Online) they DO NOT detail any of these risks (having others :-). They completely gloss over the earthquake issue! NT, has no 10-Q and 10K on file - probably because of the Canadian thing...

Maybe he is right to invest in BAY - being immune to seismic disasters could be the result of an interesting new technology.

John

Trina,
Re -- Cisco market cap..

Market cap can dissappear real quickly.. Look at Motorola.

Lucent is diversified in wireless, semiconductors and voice, in addition to datacomm. Thus the risks to LU are significantly less.
