This is the response I received this morning: I guess VARIL's competitors are Synergy, MODCO, Minicircuits are a few that come to mind. Its competitors sell much broader bandwidth VCOs. There are many products on the market that need to have dual band operation and that is why someone might choose a broadband VCO instead of a narrow band one. I am impressed at the variety of VCOs VARIL sells. Seems to be more choices than other companies. These are my personal opinions based on publicly available information. ;)
