Darren, re: "Remember, INTC was over 90 before warning March 4, 1998." Also remember, the consensus for '98 was $3.97 before the warning. It's now $3.17. The forward PE would have to reach 28+ for a price of $90.00 vs a PE of 22 prior to the warning.

Again, very accurate, but doesn't take into account "paranoia to euphoria." Also, your P/E calculations are consistent with why we won't see 90 for a while, unless INTC's 2Q earnings include upside comments on the 2nd half of the year. Either way, we'll see 85 before we see 65...
