I know exactly what the agenda is and its identical to the analysts agenda. The goal of CNBC, WSJ, Barrons, etc is to move markets and individucal stocks as much as possible with their opinions, analysis, guests, etc. The belief is that more people will watch and pay attention to CNBC if they believe that they move the markets. Same thing goes for analysts. Analysts that move markets generate a lot of attention to their brokerage house.
