while i'd be ecstatic with your foretelling, at the risk of deflating your outlook, i think it's a bit optimistic. for one, recall, safeskin had the capacity for 3.5b gloves in '97 (and produced 3.3b as you cite) and will have the capacity for 5.5b at the end of the year. also, sfsk's already reported for Q1 -- a 50% eps increase. to hit $1.17 for fy98 (over $.70 last year), using your logic, they'd have to exceed your 67% prediction over the next three quarters. imho, that's a stretch.

don't get me wrong, if you've read any of my previous posts, i'm exceedingly bullish. but i'm not lacing up my nikes in pamplona just yet.

i think a buck five (or six or seven) is very much doable.
