Seems to be very high volatility today on no news I've seen. Anybody got any idea what's going on? Could it be related to the ATT/TCI merger?

JMHO.

JDN,

It seems to me that the "analyst's recommendations" are so much
lip service. To me, the real problem Wall St. has with SUNW is
that the company seeks to break the back of its beloved PC cartel.

Wall St. says it likes & supports competition, but it
buys monopolies which constitute a sure bet. Right now,
the PC cartel is perhaps the biggest unregulated trust in the world,
there are tens of thousands of people in it & it has the momentum
that comes with size.

SUNW will need to show the market that superior products and savvy
marketing will beat shoddy products and savvy marketing every time,
and it needs to show up on the balance sheet.
