Disagree.

It's a new world. Every major company has significant development partnerships (Ballard is an exaggerated example) and vendor/customer "partnerships" (GE already works with all the major auto companies.)

If you're worried that GE will try to bury fc technology because they currently manufacture competing technologies (e.g. turbines), GE has learned how to stay competitive. If the future is fuel cell power generation, that's where they'll be.

Daimler cares about the rate of technological advancement and speed to commercialization, things GE could greatly help with.

I would view GE's getting into fc technology as a good for all the current fc companies.
