Well I guess I don't know enough about con-artists. But there is the possibility that is was a mistake, and the presumption of innocence should apply, albeit cautiously. Here is another scenario, suppose that this thing turns out to be a scam, does that automatically stigmatize the rocketeers, or could it be possible that they had good intentions, and were misled.
