You better buy some more T today! IMHO, this is the ultimate bypass move - T gets direct connection access to millions of up-scale consumer homes - and guess what, although I wouldn't trust TCI with my phone service, I will when AT&T teaches them how to maintain a networking facility to telephone standards! I think LU's opportunity is in provisioning the new network (cable/telephone) - but competition is going to be fierce!!!! Watch for MCI and Sprint to try and duplicate this somehow, and then watch SBC and the other LECs scramble; the PR guys are going to earn their keep on this as the locals try to paint T as the bad guy in keeping them out of LD!!!!
