I can vouch for Mr. NICE GUY message-it was posted right after my post and about 1-2 minutes later (NO EXAGGERATION) it was pulled!!!!!! OUT OF THE THOUSANDS OF THREADS, SI SEEMS TO BE PAYING "VERY CLOSE" ATTENTION TO THIS ONE. AND THE NAYSAYERS ARE NOW COMING OUT IN FULL FORCE. IS THIS A COINCIDENCE? HMM............. FOLKS, CHECK OUT ROCKETEER1'S SITE TO AVOID THE TRASH BEING PUT UP HERE! PS: AS TO HOW "SECURE" PMs ARE? seeing what has been going on, would you want to BET your money on it?

I too was suspended from SI this week for refering to Analyst10 on DGIV thread as Anal10. I recieved a PM from anal10 trying to get me to see the light and sell my dgiv. and a PM from bob sys admin. to refrain from name calling. I pmed Byron Glenn AKA rocketeer1 one minute before posting on the thread and using anal10 again to let him know I would probally be suspended. sure enough they yanked my last post and suspended me. bullmarket saw it and then saw it disapear. it all happened so quick it was scary. They definitely can monitor PMs and I believe they or at least bob sys. admin is in cahoots with bashers. Yet another case of "Someone wrote it on the internet, therefore it must be true." Two things I'd like to point out: 1. As I said before, I do not have the ability to read private messages, nor would I want that ability. The post deletion and suspension came about so quickly because I was actively reading the thread, as I often do lately. Interesting that it would be considered implausible that I would be actively reading the thread, which is easily done, but considered plausible that I'm reading PM's just as actively. 2. I find it personally insulting when I keep seeing these allegations that I and SI are corrupt. It simply is not true. But lack of a single shred of proof doesn't stop the allegations. That, in itself, speaks volumes about the people making such allegations and citing them as "obvious" or factual. I keep seeing statements, too, that I haven't taken any action regarding violations of the Terms of Use when the culprit is part of the group that is identified here as "the bashers". This, also, is not true. But people get so focused on the bark of one tree, they can't (or refuse to) notice if any other trees in the forest are acting differently, or simply aren't there. The most disgusting and troubling part is seeing those blinders-on observations touted as Gospel. SI Admin (Bob)
