Would think that you have to go to a US broker although for Cdn stocks I find Investorline pretty good as far as execution, reasonable,responsive and cheap.
Been with them about 3 years and no complaints on Cdn stocks. US securities, poor execution on Nasdaq(IMO, although seems better last year or so) and very limited supply of stock for shorting(this may have changed, I moved my short account about 18months ago because of these problems).

Well, if you are changing your broker anyway, and if this is not a RSP account, you may as well look south of the border.
