Chuz, I vaguely recall a post a few months ago to the effect that Asian consumers of oil were drawing down stocks without renewing due to their cashflow and credit problems (and perhaps the strong dollar, as well). I haven't heard anything about it since, but it could be an interesting point to investigate (wish I knew where to go for this info -- perhaps some oil trader would know the details). It could mean that Asian countries would have to replenish stocks sooner, rather than later, as they drop to critical levels.
