The purpose of a chat site is to disseminate information related to that stock. People get turned off (BELIEVE ME, many prospective SI clients ARE turned off) when the thread degenerates to a free-for-all bashing due to the incessant idiotic postings of bashers. Just check out MTEI thread yourself, SI Admin. If you are a prospective SI client, would you wANt to PAY MONEY to join that trash? And guess what, it was a nice , INFORMATIVE thread until the bashers show up to turn it into trash! Is that a coincidence? Is it also a coincidence that real investors have basically stopped posting there? Is it also a coincidence the stock price decreased over that time? NOT!!!!!
