I would never do that. I'm not a basher, I just tell it like it is. If it were the Cubs, it would be a different story, though.

Hey, things are looking up for the D'Backs! You guys are playing the Mariners this weekend. Their record is almost as bad as the D'Backs, but they DID manage to beat the Padres. (If that's not the definition of a 'fluke', then I don't know what is.)

Look at it this way: at least you're not the Marlins.
