Vic-

Imagineer is a good company. They are about the same size as THQ, in sales and earnings. The company's direction has shifted from a developer of entertainment software to educational software. THQ may not be interested in such a deal. Besides, the risks of buying a foreign company are great.

If EIDSY or ERTS acquired THQ it would provide a tremendous boost to
their EPS. Considering how undervalued THQ's P/E is and how strong
their forward EPS is and the exposure it had in IBD and on Squawk Box,
I would be surprised if they're not being considered as an acquisition
target. But I don't think Farrell would go for it if he plans to take
THQ to $50 by year end. After all, that would give THQ a P/E of only
16 using historically conservative Todd estimates.
