**OFF TOPIC** You gotta love my man Newt....

Gingrich Proposes Capital Gains Cut

WASHINGTON (AP) - Cutting the top capital-gains tax rate to 15 percent would keep the economic boom alive by freeing trillions of dollars in investments for start-up businesses, House Speaker Newt Gingrich said today. The Georgia Republican offered a bill to cut the top capital-gains rate from 20 percent to 15 percent, and the rate for lower-income taxpayers from 10 percent to 7.5 percent. Capital-gains taxes are paid on profits from the sale of investments.

Looks like all of us evil rich people ("rich" being anyone who can pay their own way thru life with no gov't aid) are at it again.

God I love that man's thinking!!

TO EVERYONE THAT IS GETTING BLEARY EYED:
Ok, a practical suggestion for those getting exhausted reading through all these posts. Can we all start the first line with the POINT one is making to make, for the benefit of those people with limited time and unlimited interest (so as to select from the index of messages).

Some people are just so frustrated and upset that they need to get it out somewhere. Due to the unusual circumstances surrounding this company, this is to be expected. It would be beneficial to discern which posts contain new substantial information about Midland from other posts, without starting a new thread!. This can be accomplished by clicking on the Midland header, which features an index of each post featuring only the first line of the post. Does anyone have the same sentiment, and if so can we all make an effort to do this, at least for awhile until the commotion calms down?
