Roy,

Your input is as valuable as anyone who frequents this thread. You have a strong knowledge of the industry from both a technical and a strategic business position. Your words are more than encouraging for a company that has been so badly beaten over the last two years. I don't doubt the engineering talent that developed the MKII. What has become an overwhelming concern is the ability of the company to sell the product. You said it yourself...there are only so many tier one OEM's. I think Ancor can survive the loss of Sun and Sequent, but if IBM and HP fall to Brocade, there won't be much of anything left to sell. Loosing out on 4 big ones in a row, (should it occur) is pretty tough to overcome. Ancor will run out of money sooner, rather than later. How do you secure financing on a company that looses all the major contracts and has only minor revenues? Simple economics tell me we have to bag one of the big ones to secure not only investor confidence, but additional funding if needed. Maybe it isn't the bottom of the 9th, but it sure looks like we are behind in runs.

Just curious...would you encourage your friends or family members to buy shares at these prices?

Roger
