Betty, thanks for the input. I think you describe how many companies work with their p.r. people. Just happen to think it's wrong even when one may have reason to regard a p.r. person as a pain in the neck. There is a need to know as much as possible about everything since any communication from a company goes to many diverse audiences.

Betty, not only has the issue been blown out of proportion, there is no issue! There is no adult trial. There is an adult study by a doctor in the U.K. that has been a long time research collaborator. It, as a study, has nothing to do with any trial. It is being carried out in sites not related to the present trials. At most, other than probably saving lives, it may lead to an article by the investigator. BTW, Ellen agreed with me that the most important and demanding position in any company is that of the head of the IR dept. <g>
