Perhaps the problem at the moment is the perception that PT-1 faces
some of the problems that PTEK has had with its calling card businesses. SMTK, which is in the same business is down 35% this year
although I am not familiar with the company.

My understanding is that while PTEK, SMTK, and PT-1 are all in the
prepaid calling card business, the companies appeal to different
customers. PT-1 appeals to ethnic communities, people who are price
sensitive and PTEK appeals to the mobile businessman who is not price
sensitive. The former generates loyalty to the product because
it is difficult to undercut the price of the service that PT-1 provides. That is not the case with PTEK's card.

PT-1, according to Lehman Bros., is growing rapidly and has not faced
the slowdown that PTEK has.

I agree----cheap options. With a good move with way out time frame like that you could make a killing.
