Another summary of the meeting--Part 2 to follow. Comments on meeting...... Dooper55 Jun 24 1998 2:58PM EDT Good to see Gary and cougar there. Upbeat. Clear everybody wants deal done but no antagonism. Dennis says, "Courting an 800 lb gorilla and working to avoid getting stepped on. When/if deal is consummated, it'll be nice to have the gorilla on our side." No technical hurdles in getting deal signed....just administrative delays due to size of TX. Understandable. Optimistic deal will be signed in very near future. (This is not a guarantee.) More presentations to be done in Canada, Milan, San Fran and Pittsburgh. They feel good about their financial condition. Some discussion about that but additional clarity would help (my comment). They have a couple of things they're working....including getting a bank line of credit. TX and RNTK must jointly approve every word of every release made on the topic of their union. (Good nuances for today's release.) Will post more. Doop III
