>>I'll paper trade this position anyway and see how it ends up.

It will only count if your system is emotion-free. Otherwise, paper trades work well on the paper but in practice where fear & greed are at work.

I shorted TI. Just a small position.

Harry, I think NAZ will go into a bit of consolidation in the next couple of days. I shorted TXN and TLAB before the close.

Will short more stocks in case of opening gap tomorrow AM.

Harry, Just a couple of words for clarification.

I have always tried to play the ups and downs but it is quite easier to avoid shorting stocks at this point. Just get out when you think the short-term top has reached and wait to buy the dips.

In a "momentum-driven" market, MMs react quite differently to shorts & profit-taking. Reversals happen in a flash and shorts are often squeezed in a matter of minutes.

On your paper trade, I'll be interested in doing one with you on the basis of "no-fear". I would like to see if I will do better with paper trades in this market. Both options and Stocks. Longs & shorts. $20K in paper-trade money. No competition, no record keeping.....just an experiment to help us with our own trades.

What do you think, Harry? Sally doesn't have to know!!!(I get a kick out of mentioning that imaginary Sally to you. Don't know why. Hope it doesn't bother you, my good friend).
