"Oh, but believing science is true does not take faith. Believing history does not take faith. Reading a newspaper or watching the news does not take faith. Don't you put faith in scientists, historians, news reporters, etc ... that they are telling you the truth? You sure do. And it takes a lot more faith to believe them shady characters than a holy God... "

Thank you Steve. An excellent observation that is often denied or overlooked by nonbelievers. You said it well in few words.

Steve:

>Reading a newspaper or watching the news does not take faith.

The news media is slanted and also misreports things all the time. I take everything they report with a grain of salt.

>Don't you put faith in scientists,
No, only evidence.

>historians,

As far as American history, it is better to get the newspapers that were written during the time or history books written within 5 - years of the time period you are studying. I trust NO modern history books.

>news reporters, etc ...

I trust no reporters.

>Sure you do.

No, I don't.
