Doesn't have the impact of a contract with GM or Coke, but I'm happy to see something finally released. Guess everyone was looking for any excuse to buy some more TAVA (We broke thru $10, currently 10 1/4 x 10 3/8). Nice timing on the news also. Gotta love news in the last hour of the trading day.

Hoping for more of these announcements.

Rich

'if you are short, you would feel more comfortable with a tight-fitting Ziploc veggie bag over your head'

______

'In the meantime, some guy drones on in the background that it is dangerous to buy stocks that have soaring valuations, like he doesn't wish he had been long Amazon (Nasdaq:AMZN - news) for those last 50 points.

In that climate, if you are short, you would feel more comfortable with a tight-fitting Ziploc veggie bag over your head. You are suffocating anyway.

How do I know? Because I have worn that ill-fitting poly choker. Because I have asked that the zipper be closed on me, to spare me any further pain. I have been short stocks that have spiraled out of control and thought, how do I tell my partners that, not only did the market turn around, but I stayed short? Why did I do such a bonehead thing?? Why? Why? Why?

Relationships...

Don't underestimate the power of relationships... This is just the beginning... But what a beginning!!! L.A. isn't small potatoes... Those who questioned the importance of Rick Cowles participation in these Senate hearings instead of knocking on corporate America's doors are now getting their answer on how real business deals are done...

While it is good news anytime there is a contract announced, I must once again stress my concerns that this is an area out of TAVA's core business, and does not create a scenario for revenues and an ongoing business relationship after Y2K, whereas a deal with Coke, Kraft, GM, and so on provides a solid foundation for post-Y2K $$$.

I am very concerned by what appears to be a lack of focus. They should be rifle-shotting the manufacturing space, nailing down all the big boys, and creating a multi-year annuity relationship with these companies. *THAT* is what will make for a real long-term value in TAVA's stock.

Hopefully it is not a desperation move, but a temporary diversion or a "testing the waters" move. Anyone who has ever done work in the municipal sector will also understand why I'm concerned! Not a great segment to be in for high margin work, to say the least.

Get focused, TAVA! And bring home some big fish!
