Michael, Drastic actions??? Lets see, they retired from the audio business, they laid off over 100 people, they fired their CEO, they bought key technology from a competitor they drove out of business (Cirrus) and turned around and sued one of their new competitors (Nvidia). They also outbid INTC for patents that they needed to get Merced off the ground in a timely fashion and introduced a new chip with a dramatically different graphics engine that hopefully will get them and us back on track.
