Gaskins needs eyeglasses...

Obviously, Gaskins reports incomplete information. He fails to note that DR produced the same revenue in Q1/98 that it did in all of 1997. He can't be very good at analyzing IPOs if he misses an important detail like that. Either that, or he is biased.

Second, he does not have a clue what market DR is in. Comparing DR to Merisel?! Merisel is a value added reseller of large computer systems, and a damaged one at that. If your coproation wants to buy 50 used IBM servers, you go to Merisel. If Gaskins doesn't know the difference between a computer VAR and ESD, than he is an joke. Kinda sad, really.

Third, a start up company spending heavily on infrastructure producing a loss? I am shocked, yes shocked!

"I don't think they can compete with the established distributors in the field, which include Ingram Micro, Techdata and Merisel," says Mr. Gaskins.<<

DocStone is correct!!!! If Gaskins thinks he can compare DR to Ingram, Techdata, and Merisel he is sadly mistaken.
