Hello All, I have been away and would like someone to summarize the Nomai situation and any other potential copy-cat on the disks. Iomega looks very tempting at this price and I am building up a position. I do know that Nomai disks only work on certain Zip drive. Is the technology put in place by Iomega to prevent 100% compatibility? Thanks. Exitleft.

RE: 1024 10-packs Based on this number, if Iomega were to sell this many 10-packs every day for 1 Quarter straight, it would still only amount to about $75 Million in revenue taking into account that Ingram is responsible for 12%(?) or so of total Iomega sales. Assuming the 60% profit margin holds true, this means 45 million in profits from Zip discs. Offest by this however, are losses from OEM sales, Jaz and Ditto sales target failures, $20 rebates that have to be paid, SG&A, fixed costs, and retail Zip drives that are not moving very well. It's going to be a brutal Quarter. IOM says (-0.10›) to (-0.13›). I say closer to (-0.15›). This will give IOM a PE of 550 in July if IOM stock price is $5.50.
