Evidently, you're right about the consumers, and I was talking from personal experience with cd burners. But the stock has done quite well, though I am not an enthusiast. Thanks for the info

You may be right about CD burners--they're getting pretty cheap now, and who cares about rewritability when the media is dirt cheap. However, they're still pretty slow, and Zip is easier to use. Maybe this will be one factor in slowly killing off the Zip though.
