this is what i watch and own most of them. for e.g. don't have txn but still watch it. recently bot MOT, MO leaps. i don't have cpq but will watch it. out of rmbs. in rollover ira : (this is where i take risks) today: bot & sold LU july80. bot july105 aol not sold. bot july70 MEL not sold. hold msft (lmfar) /pfe leaps(lpeat) here and pfe stocks for a trade. roth: (don't take any risk ) sold 400 msft and bot 600 LU in the morn. still own many more msft stocks in roth will be sold soon. This is the account i keep churning. and last friday was it i put it all to cash then bot on monday. i m sure my broker loves me for this. GUESS WHICH IS THE BEST % PERFORMENCE TODAY? judy,just this AM i posted, I never use online trading. but atleast make a mental promise to urself that u would not do that in the last 5 minitues. i do so much w. computers get real time, look up options etc but when i place an order i call the broker. lots of my orders are in last 5 mins. one reason is u could make mistake and if your broker makes a mistake he is responsible. sometimes u do not get confirmation right away on line. also forgot to mention, i bot july60 for T at the close approx 1.75. gives me 3 weeks to think about weather i want to buy this stock at 60. last time i bot T40 leaps when T @38 and sold at 59.x that was nine months ago. today it's still the same price. truff and i did this to gether. My guess is you are looking at approx $84 by december 2000 on T. i looked at y2k1 T leaps today but did not look attractive.
